Joe Fingerhut
Joe Fingerhut is the oldest jumper at his local trampoline park, and his neighbors know him as the Dad who walks to his kids’ bus stop on stilts. In his uncle’s words, Joe has “not worked a day in his life.” Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Joe began an exploration of countries and careers in college at Loyola University Chicago, where he tried his hand at stand-up comedy and being the school mascot (a wolf). In the eight years after college, Joe went to thirty countries on six continents, with adventures including backpacking through Europe, teaching English in Japan, a two-month honeymoon in South America, and an around-the-world trip soon after that. Joe found his next gig during his wedding reception, when he figured the DJ had a pretty fun job. Invaluable training by epic mentors led to 10 years as one of the most-requested wedding/mitzvah/corporate DJs in St. Louis, plus events in six other states. Along the way, he picked up a few “other jobs,” building up a wide range of skills as a professional magician, juggler, unicycler, stilt walker, and hypnotist. Joe took all the lessons learned in entertainment and travel, and decided to help other people follow their dreams. Since 2010, Joe focused on motivational speaking, and delivers dynamic keynotes at conferences, leadership events, and schools. Audiences are inspired to replace “I Can’t” with a “How Can I?” mindset, as Joe shares lessons from his adventures in travel, language, and various stage skills. When he’s not traveling to speak at conferences and events about maximizing life’s opportunities, he’s in St. Louis doing magic, juggling, and DJ shows, often at the same event. Joe’s endeavors are inspired, supported, and tolerated by his wife Michiyo. They travel to Japan every year with their two kids, who are still young enough to enjoy seeing Dad on stilts at the bus stop. Matt Radicelli
Matt is the Founder/CEO of Rock The House Entertainment Group, Inc. (RTH), a Cleveland, Ohio based production and entertainment company. In 1999, he founded Rock The House and acquired regional competitors in 2010 (Selective Sound Entertainment) and 2013 (Zone Entertainment). The RTH family of companies has more than 125 employees and produces / performs at over 1,800 events per year including corporate events & meetings, non-profit galas, weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and more.
Radicelli started DJing at age seven and regards his parents’ divorce when he was twelve as his “entrepreneurial catalyst.” As a teenager, he started his disc jockey business organizing high school dances and teen parties – a bold move that allowed him to invest heavily in other ventures. A ‘straight A’ student at the time, Radicelli decided not to go to college and started another business designing and installing audio-visual systems for nightclubs and restaurants. In 1999, Matt was asked to perform at his first Bat Mitzvah and the rest, as they say, “is history.” Matt has been featured as one of Crain’s 20’s in their 20’s, profiled by Smart Business Magazine, and was named valedictorian of his Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses class. He is a member of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), past president of the International Live Events Society (ILES), and past President of DJ Think Tank. One of Matt’s main passions is to share his experience and knowledge with other business owners. He speaks, coaches, and mentors others throughout the country, but never stops learning. His motto, “Delegate, Decline, Do” keeps him on track daily to give his time and attention where it’s needed most. Matt works hard but keeps his priorities straight; his commitment to his team and clients comes second only to his commitment to his beautiful wife and 4 children. Jeff Scott Gould
On a good hair day, Jeff Scott Gould stands at a strong 5’4″. Jeff is known as a tri-fecta in the industry, a true MC | DJ | VJ. Justin Reid
Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Justin Reid has been DJ’ing and entertaining weddings and private events since 2003. His adventures in DJ’ing have taken him to several major cities including Atlanta, Chicago and Las Vegas. He has always had a great love and passion for music, so when the opportunity to become a DJ he jumped at the chance.
At first, Justin DJ’d part time on weekends, but over time, he decided to go full-time and dove head first, DJ’ing 4-5 nights a week for various clubs and events. Justin has been a full-time DJ since 2007. Justin’s passion lies in creating fun and unique events, especially weddings. He says “No two events are the same. Each couple is unique and deserves an event that fully reflects who they are.” He has a B.A. in Graphic Arts from The University of South Carolina - Upstate, so his eye for design ties in quite well to creating a particular aesthetic and experience when it comes to weddings and events. When it comes to throwing once-in-a-lifetime celebrations, some of Justin’s go-to songs include (in no particular order) “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg”, “Party In the USA”, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, “Bye Bye Bye”, “It’s Tricky” and “Yeah”, to name a few. Justin’s strengths are in music programming (creating the perfect order and soundtrack of songs to fit the vibe and atmosphere) by reading the crowd and his organization in helping plan the perfect flow of events for any event. When he’s not rocking events, Justin writes for Mobile Beat magazine, the mobile DJ industry’s longest running publication. He also consults other wedding and event-related small businesses on marketing and organization. For fun, Justin loves watching sports, enjoying a great meal, listening to music and podcasts, playing golf, binge-watching a good Netflix series, checking out a new brewery, attending a concert, and spending time with his wife.
